Sometimes in order to pull in the latest content, a user may need to clear the cache, a temporary store of data on the machine that allows for quicker viewing but can mean the latest content is not viewed.
In order to clear the cache for Adobe AIR applications, viewed on PC and Mac, follow the steps below:
Windows
First of all we need to show hidden files and folders which is possible by navigating to the Control Panel then click Folder Options
Under the View tab, scroll down and within the Hidden files and folders menu select Show hidden files, folders and drives. Click Apply to confirm the changes and click OK to close the dialogue box
Navigate to the user folder by using the link in the start menu, or typically located at C:\Users\*username*
Within this folder, select AppData, then Roaming. You should see something similar to the following screen:
The folder referencing com.yudu.ReaderAIR* is the folder that the application uses to store the cached content. Simply delete this folder to remove the cached content from your machine.
Mac
The same principle applies to MAC OS X as we need to show the folder that contains the Adobe Air content before we can proceed to remove it.
The best guide(s) on how to do this can be found in the following website:
How To View The Library Folder
Hopefully you now have access to the Library folder that we will need to navigate to, and is located in /Users/*Username*/Library. Within this folder, select Caches and you should see a number of folders.
