Why Does My Custom Android Keyboard Encounter Issues Within Apps?

With the Android platform being very open to enhancement applications, many users tend to download new keyboards for use in personal messaging or browsing the internet. As applications have to be compatible across literally thousands of Android devices (tablets too) there are a number of issues that can be encountered when using these when browsing the web or within applications themselves.

Recently it has been discovered that the mobile version of SwiftKey can cause issues when attempting to input user credentials into applications, therefore we recommend using the Android default or the Google alternative that is available below from the Google Play Store:
